Hoogduin papierrestauratoren has three book conservators at work whose

primary concern is the welfare of your book collection. We work for libraries

and (municipal) institutions as well as for private clients.

You can contact us for:

Advice on storage conditions for books

Condition surveys

Conservation

-the making of conservation folders, book boxes and other forms of protective

   housing for books.

Restoration

-the conservation of parchment, leather, linen and paper bindings.

In both conservation and restoration work the specific conditions of any

collection or object are taken into account. The future use and storage place

of the book or collection play an important role in deciding on a suitable

treatment. The emphasis is on minimum intervention. Following the E.C.C.O.

professional guidelines, we take care to use reversible materials.
